Are you an educator looking for a fun and educational outdoor experience? We have docents available to lead school walks and share their knowledge of our park! Your students will hike 3 miles along Malibu Creek with trained, volunteer docents as they explore how plants, animals, and humans (now and historical) are interconnected and dependent on each other. Students will understand the need to preserve and protect the environment in the park and where they live! Please contact Debbie Sabag, our School Hikes Coordinator, for more information at contact@malibucreekstatepark.org

If you need bus funding and you are a Title 1 School, you and your students may qualify for reimbursement for your field trip costs through passPORTS. Click here to apply for a funded field trip. Please direct additional questions on the passPORTS program to malibu.fieldtrips@parks.ca.gov

Would your school, group or company like a special guided hike of Malibu Creek State Park? It’s a great way to share L.A.’s most spectacular park with your students or employees. We’re happy to arrange custom hikes for groups of ten or more.
