SCHOOL WALKS & FIELD TRIPS

Are you an educator looking for a fun and educational outdoor experience? We have docents available to lead school walks and share their knowledge of our park! Your students will hike 3 miles along Malibu Creek with trained volunteer docents as they explore how plants, animals, and humans (present and historical) are interconnected and dependent on each other. Students will understand the need to preserve and protect the environment in the park and where they live.

Sign up for a field trip here

If you need bus funding and you are a Title 1 School, you and your students may qualify for reimbursement for your field trip costs. Once you sign up, a State Park representative will provide you more information on the program. Please contact us at malibu.fieldtrips@parks.ca.gov for any additional questions.

SPECIAL GROUP HIKES

Would your school, group or company like a special guided hike of Malibu Creek State Park? It’s a great way to share L.A.’s most spectacular park with your students or employees. We’re happy to arrange custom hikes for groups of ten or more.
